This policy explains how Watosee, an app by Sasai Soft (Spain), handles data. Watosee is local-first and privacy-first by design: no accounts, no sign-up, and we do not build a profile of you on our servers.
The data controller is Sasai Soft (Spain), developer of Watosee. For any privacy matter you can reach us at sasai.soft.dev@gmail.com. Given the nature and volume of processing, we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, but this channel handles all privacy requests.
Your data lives on your device. Our server acts as a stateless relay that lets the app generate recommendations without identifying you or storing your personal data.
We deliberately minimise data. The table summarises what we process, the purpose, the legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) and how long it is kept.

Some providers may process data outside the EEA; where they do, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
On-device data stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Search queries are processed transiently and not stored linked to you. We may keep aggregated, non-identifying operational counts to run and cost-control the service.
Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS), we minimise what is sent, and our server keeps no persistent store of your personal data.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection (GDPR Arts. 15–22). Because we hold no personal profile of you, most rights are exercised directly in the app: view, export, import or delete your data, or uninstall. For anything else, email us. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in Spain, the AEPD (aepd.es).
Recommendations are generated automatically, but they have no legal or similarly significant effect on you (GDPR Art. 22): they are suggestions you are free to ignore.
Watosee is not directed to children below the digital-consent age of their country (13 as an EU floor; higher in some — e.g. 14 in Spain, 15 in France, 16 in Germany), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date and version above reflect the current text. Material changes will be reflected here.
